Abitly
Abitly is Ukrainian system that enables individuals to identify the ideal university based on their scores
Project goal
One of the major challenges in Ukraine is selecting a university to study at. Unfortunately, we lack a user-friendly system that enables individuals to identify the ideal university based on their scores. In Ukraine, students take final general exams after completing their last year of school, which are prerequisites for university applications. The main issue lies in the fact that each university's programs assign varying coefficients to different exam subjects, making it difficult to calculate a unified score for each program. Our team has been working to address this very issue.
Solution
Our primary solution involved retrieving data from existing APIs and scraping available information. We structured this data in a manner that allowed us to develop a service capable of automating the score calculation process for each position, taking into account both coefficients and individual scores.
Overview
In collaboration with Abitly, we successfully developed a professional website to provide ukrainian applicants with free access to information about specialties in higher education institutions
